you can have the biggest castle, most spacious of room but nothing inside to make it feel more lively, more full than only echoes will talk back.
this poem is about my disability to face those who always stood there for me and reach out but I didn’t have the courage to be there with them even in hose dire moments, when I needed them, I chose to ignore but I don’t want to lose them either.
Writing this poem is to remind me every time I try to be that one friend that want see through the end and struggle to keep my friend and our relationship afloat, strong and trustful. Each time I have found we have to be patient
Ran away the boy, Don’t know from where Binding ways of shackles Still carries the weights. Fickle was the boy, Hoarded to himself alone though his eyes were dim him, forced to survive. Gone the days, The boy left behind Never let he go Dim were his eyes, Shackles from the past Kept both hands
